In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, the Yellow River Hengcheng Tourist Resort in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has introduced night tours showcasing the stunning intangible cultural heritage of datiehua, or molten iron fireworks, offering visitors a spectacular nocturnal experience.

Skilled craftsmen throw pieces of molten iron heated to more than 1,000 degrees into the air, causing fireworks to fill the sky. The dazzling show is reflected in the castle tower and the shimmering Yellow River, complementing the bright moon and presenting a feast for the senses.

In addition to the performance, the tourist resort has prepared a variety of activities to upgrade the tourist experience. Immersive real-life performances are staged, showing the prosperous commerce and military defense of the ancient Hengcheng ferry crossing. An interactive ancient-style parade, thrilling and exciting circus performances, and acrobatic stunts also take turns to appear, adding to the excitement and fun.

The scenic area is also launching interactive folk games such as guessing lantern riddles and touhu, or pitch-pot. Visitors can participate in the challenge to exchange exquisite cultural and creative gifts, immersing themselves in traditional folk culture.
