Farmers working on the Qingtongxia wine production area on the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region have been busy harvesting grapes this month.
This year's harvesting season for wine on the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains began in mid-August and is expected to last until early October.
Thanks to its arid climate and abundant sunshine, the eastern foothills are widely regarded as a "golden zone" for premium viticulture.
