The Students' Union at BIT is a mass organization of students that represents the interests of all students at the university. It is a member unit of the All-China Students' Federation and the presidium unit of the Beijing Students' Federation. 

There are eight departments in the Students' Union, which are the Students' Union Office, Organization Department, Publicity Department, New Media Department, Rights and Interests Department, Recreation Department, Sports Department, and Academic Department. Additionally, there are three organizations under the Students' Union: the Sunshine Service Team, the International Exchange Center, and the Ice and Snow (Curling) Club.

The Students' Union encourages students to be planners and executors, unleashing their potential and making their vision a reality. It is committed to serving the campus and bridging the gap between the university and students.
