Social Worker Commune
The BIT Social Worker Commune was founded in March 2014 with the support of the university and its students. The mission of the club is to promote the importance of social work and elevate the level of volunteerism in the BIT community.
In addition to volunteer work, the commune also focuses on raising students' awareness of responsibility and the spirit of giving back to society. Those who have a passion for helping others through volunteer work are invited to join.
The club hosts several main events, including the yearly selection of an excellent volunteer, programs to help needy individuals and social groups, self-improvement through group discussions, and a Day of Commune Culture.
BIT Heilongjiang Society
The BIT Heilongjiang Society is a student organization that promotes the culture and traditions of Heilongjiang. With a variety of events and activities centered around Heilongjiang culture, there is something for everyone to enjoy, whether it be trying Heilongjiang cuisine, playing basketball, skiing, or even taking part in standup comedy training.

Up Association of BIT
The Up Association aims to assist students in waking up early and attending classes on time, leading to improved academic performance. The association is well-liked on campus for its effectiveness in helping students and is composed of four departments: the publicity department, responsible for posters and news dissemination, the liaison department, which handles events planning and contacting, the information department, which collects and organizes information, and the program department, which organizes activities.
The club's main events include "Wake Up!", where students form pairs to help each other wake up early, "Morning Reading", where students gather in the early morning to read aloud led by a student, and other activities such as morning jogging, breakfast parties, and breakfast delivery.

The Black & White Comics Club is a great anime society that not only creates and researches comics but also loves to cosplay. The Internet Pioneers Association, founded in 1997, is a prominent IT community at the Beijing Institute of Technology. They have earned various accolades for their excellence, including being named among the "Top Ten University Leagues" and "Beijing Top Five Student Associations".

Cultural Heritage Protection Association
The Association of Cultural Heritage Protection was established in 2009, and is composed entirely of graduates who specialized in industrial design. Its primary goal was to gather students with an interest in cultural heritage, promote learning, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
Although the mission of protecting cultural heritage may seem mundane to some, our association keeps the energy and enthusiasm fresh and lively. The bonds that unite us, being from the same major, create a special connection and sense of belonging that make us feel like one big family.

The House of Life was established in 2010 with the goal of serving students and creating a platform for them to explore the future of life science and technology. BIT Psychological Association
Since its establishment in April 1994, the BIT Psychological Association has been a powerful influence on the mental well-being of students. With guidance from the Mental Health Education & Counseling Center, the association offers educational resources such as lectures, movies, and club bulletins to assist students in managing their mental health.
In recognition of its outstanding efforts, the association was nominated and awarded as one of the top ten clubs at BIT in 2010. If you share our commitment to promoting positive mental health and well-being, we invite you to join us in this important work.

BIT Computer Association
The BIT Computer Association is a student organization dedicated to serving and enhancing the quality of student life on campus. Since its establishment, the club has made tremendous strides in achieving its goals and objectives.
Currently, the club has a plan to increase its membership by recruiting 300 new students every year. These new members will be assigned to different departments such as technology, publicity, and liaison. With numerous activities held on a monthly basis, members will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and sharpen their skills.
The club provides free computer check-ups from 19:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday, in basement 002, Shutong C.
In addition, the club has taken a remarkable step of providing a free torrent website named Jisuzhixing for students to access software and movies effortlessly. This initiative goes a long way towards making the lives of students more comfortable.

Boguan Astronomy Club

The Boguan Astronomy Club is the only club in BIT that focuses on the study of astronomy. They have organized a variety of engaging activities, such as meteor shower and eclipse observations, as well as talks focused on astronomical science.

The BIT Energy-Saving Vehicle Club is a student group connected to the BIT AETC (Automotive Electronics Technical Innovation Center). Their focus is on advancing environmentally friendly technology and promoting "Green" ideology. They hope to encourage students to apply their knowledge to helping to construct a conservation-oriented society, and helping to enhance students' innovation and practical abilities.

Cycling association of BIT
The BIT Cycling Association was founded in 2011 with the goal of promoting travel and fitness. It's considered one of the top clubs at BIT. The club hosts a variety of activities such as free bike repairs, holiday trips, summer and winter social practices, cycling lectures and competitions.
Members of the club have had numerous travel experiences, visiting not only destinations across China, but also far-off places such as Nepal. Additionally, the club has organized many social activities during holidays.

BIT UAN Parkour League
Parkour is an exhilarating sport that defies strict rules and involves using one's own body and immediate environment. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing and practical, but Parkour is also considered a lifestyle that can improve physical and mental health and teach valuable lessons such as overcoming fear and preventing falls. According to Parkourer Daniel, "You fear to fall, or you fall because you fear. It's up to you.”
The BIT UAN Parkour League aims to provide the largest and most comprehensive community for Parkourers at the university level.
BIT Table Tennis Club
The BIT Table Tennis Club has been steadily making progress since its establishment in 2005 on the main campus. In 2009, the club was also established in the Liangxiang Campus to better connect students from both locations. Currently, the club in the Liangxiang Campus has over 100 members and is aiming to recruit 100 more members, ultimately achieving a stable membership of 200. The club hosts singles table tennis tournaments at the Liangxiang Campus in both spring and autumn. In addition, friendly matches with other universities are held irregularly. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned pro, students who are interested in playing Ping-Pong are welcome to join the club and learn with us!
Journalist Association of BIT
The Journalist Association of BIT, also known as JA, is a student organization at a school-level that is directly managed by the Publicity Department of BIT. JA supports the news publicity and cultural construction of BIT while serving as a platform for campus events and disseminating information.
JA has a Presidium and a Secretary General (guide teacher), and its student organizations include the BIT TV Station Student Team, the BIT WeChat Official Account Studio, the BIT Image Processing Center, the Jinggong Shiguang Studio, the Foreign Language News Agency, and the JA Office. Besides, there is the BIT Photography Association——the only photography interest club under the Image Processing Center.
