The Intelligent Education Research Branch of China Association of Higher Education is established at Beijing Institute of Technology.
The founding conference of the Intelligent Education Research Branch, China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), was held at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on Dec 1.
A total of 910 guests from 137 universities, enterprises, and institutions attended the conference.
With the theme "Empowering education with intelligence for the construction of a strong education nation", the conference aimed to contribute to the construction of digital infrastructure in higher education.

Lin Huiqing, former vice-minister of the Ministry of Education and CAHE’s vice-president; Zhang Jun, secretary of the CPC BIT Committee and member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Gao Dongfeng, deputy director of the Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education; and Wang Bo, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC BIT Committee and BIT’s vice-president, jointly launched the branch.
The CAHE Intelligent Education Research Branch was jointly initiated and established by BIT and 66 renowned domestic universities, as well as relevant enterprises and institutions. There are currently 138 member units and 724 individual members.
The branch will proactively respond to the transformation of education digitization and intelligence development, gather domestic and international research and practical strengths in intelligent education, and promote the construction and demonstration of intelligent education systems, platforms and applications, as well as build a new ecosystem for the intelligent education industry.
