Digital Electronics Fundamentals, delivered by professor Wang Meiling, was selected as one of only 10 globally for the World MOOC and Online Education Alliance AI Special Award.

As one of the first domestic examples of "AI + courses" in the field of digital electronics, this course has introduced large-scale artificial intelligence models and established a course-specific knowledge base. Through big data analysis and deep learning technology, the course has achieved intelligent analysis of students' learning situations and needs, tailoring learning resources and paths for each student to meet their individualized learning requirements.

Associate professor Chen Dongping who participated in the research and construction of the Computational Biology smart classroom, represented a typical application achievement of Chinese AI empowering higher education teaching. This was the only application case presented to the world at the conference.

In this teaching scenario, the self-developed virtual reality teaching tool Manta was applied in the course teaching practice, addressing the difficult educational points where students were unable to learn protein structures and drug design from the perspective of the microscopic molecular world.

Meanwhile, the "AI + MOOC Western Tour" program conducted by BIT and Ningxia Institute of Science and Technology has been selected as a typical case during the conference.

The two universities have jointly established a virtual teaching and research office, co-created an intelligent laboratory and conducted synchronous classes, breaking the boundaries of time and space to create a platform for shared educational resources.

In recent years, BIT has achieved significant success in the development of smart courses, continuously promoting data intelligence empowerment, fostering open collaboration and making new contributions to the establishment of a more resilient and sustainable higher education system in the era of data intelligence.
