The 11th International Culture Festival at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) commenced on Nov 22, 2025. Aimed to use culture as a bridge, the event blended youthful wisdom to create a platform for diverse cultural exchange and mutual learning.
The vibrant cultural festival featured captivating performances and diverse exhibition booths to celebrate BIT’s 85th anniversary.

During the performance segment, students from various countries jointly presented a cross-border artistic celebration.
The traditional Chinese opera Mu Guiying Takes Command showcased the unique charm of Peking Opera.
Other performances included Indonesian, Russian and Pakistani songs and dances, followed by the graceful movements of Myanmar and Vietnamese dances, highlighting the cultural essence of different nations.
Moroccan music and dance narrated North African stories, while performances from Pacific Island nations captured island romance and mystery.
Dances from El Salvador and Nicaragua highlighted the vibrant individuality of American cultures.

In the bustling exhibition area, 45 distinctive booths formed a "world cultural map", encapsulating the charm of over 40 countries across five continents. This attracted many teachers and students, both domestic and international, who eagerly visited at each booth.
International students, dressed in their traditional attire, became cultural ambassadors, enthusiastically sharing the stories of their homelands through food, crafts, and games. As students tasted, experienced, and communicated, they broke down cultural barriers, allowing the essence of the five continents to blend seamlessly within the BIT campus. This vibrant exchange added a vivid chapter to the international cultural festival and highlighted the university's open and inclusive international educational atmosphere.

This grand event was not only a cultural carnival but also a vivid demonstration of BIT's open educational philosophy.
Looking to the future, the university plans to continue cultivating fertile ground for international talent development, focusing on promoting the integration and mutual learning of diverse cultures.
