In terms of improving modern shipping, SPG will continue to enhance its port services in order to establish a platform where various resources converge for governments, business partners and other stakeholders. This will advance the comprehensive integration of its policy system, business environment and industrial ecosystem.

In terms of bolstering port-industry-city integrated development, SPG has committed to evolving into an internationally advanced port for industry-city integration. To achieve its goal, it has signed strategic cooperation agreements with 16 prefecture-level cities in Shandong, building distribution centers for consumer goods and cold chain logistics parks. It has also stepped up efforts to turn ports into cities and promoted the renovation of old port areas. These efforts are expected to help SPG comprehensively integrate into the region's economy, and realize mutually-beneficial development among ports, cities and industries.

SPG is endowed with new opportunities and strengths to build a world-class seaport. In terms of helping Shandong evolve into a strong maritime province, SPG boasts impressive capabilities and offers efficient services. Riding on the new trend presented by the plan, SPG is embracing a promising future.
