Currently, two carriers loaded with equipment weighing over 30,000 cubic tons departed from Yantai Port, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Group (SPG), and headed to Guinea. According to official data, 33 liner ships left Yantai Port to Africa since this year, and the delivery volume of the Chinese-African cargo liner at Yantai Port has exceeded 650,000 metric tons up to now, an increase of 81 percent year-on-year, showcasing that the China-Africa Two-way Logistics Golden Channel is playing an important role in boosting China-Africa trade, and injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

In order to strengthen its brand influence as the world's largest bauxite import port, Yantai Port has taken full advantage of the complete bauxite logistics chain constructed by the port and its domestic and foreign partners in 2015, and improved the coordinated growth of its five port sectors.
