World's largest container ship sets sail from Qingdao Port
The world's largest container ship, Ever Alot, docked at Qingdao Port, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Group (SPG), on June 28.
The ship, with a total length of 399.99 meters and a 61.5 m in width, has a total deck area of 24,000 square meters, and can accommodate up to 24,004 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units). The vessel, which is currently sailing along the China-Europe-Mediterranean route, was designed and built in China and is owned by Evergreen Marine Corp.
