A brief speech from group leadership

Shandong Port Group has attached greater importance to develop knowledge on the ocean, and sped up the progress in the construction of world-class sea ports.

The establishment of Shandong Port Group in August 2019 ushered in a new era in the reform and development of Shandong province's coastal port integration.

Shandong has a coastline of 3,345 kilometers. Shandong Port Group, rooted in the land of Shandong and nourished by Confucian culture, has gone through a hundred years of ups and downs.

Generations of port people have inherited and carried forward the cultural genes of loyalty, integrity, benevolence, justice and courtesy, driving the group's sustainable, steady growth, just as a huge wheel sets course.

Shandong Port Group, which has integrated the major ports in the province, including Qingdao Port, Yantai Port, Rizhao Port and Bohai Bay Port, operates 22 major ports (port areas) and more than 370 production berths.

We have been reaching out to the world with more than 340 container shipping routes covering more than 180 countries and regions through the integration reform of the four ports, with our loading and unloading efficiency, automation level, cargo throughput and container throughput rating as the world's best.

We have exerted all our energies on turning SPG into an international shipping hub and center for Northeast Asia that features internationally advanced smart and green ports, logistics hubs, ports for industry-city integration, finance and trade ports, as well as culture and tourism cruise ports.
