A three-party strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Qingdao Port of Shandong Port Group (SPG), Hisense and Sitc International Holdings Co Ltd on June 19.

According to the agreement, the three parties will leverage their own strengths to strengthen collaboration, enhance supply chain services, and promote Qingdao Port's digital transformation.

Hisense's revenue increased by more than 50 percent while its profits increased by close to 70 percent over the past three years, according to Jia Shaoqian, chairman of Hisense.

A multinational high-tech enterprise that develops solutions for smart transportation, medical equipment and optical chips, Hisense provides advanced scientific and technological support for the port's digitalization construction.

A shipping logistics enterprise that boasts global shipping resources, Sitc International Holdings Co Ltd is highly compatible with the business operations of SPG.

A comprehensive supply chain service enterprise, SPG has extended its business scope in recent years to include finance, trade, shipping and logistics, making it a reliable partner for the other two enterprises.

Huo Gaoyuan, chairman of SPG, expressed his desire to maintain close cooperation with Hisense and Sitc, noting that their partnership will significantly promote the port's development of logistics channels and intelligent green ports.
