SPG Yantai Port Group, Singapore's Top International Holding Pte. Ltd., and Société de Bauxite de Kimbo S.A. jointly invested and established a joint venture to construct and operate the river port terminal and the 100 kilometer bauxite transport road. The port is located on the east bank of the Fatala River, and two 8,000-ton bauxite ship berths were constructed. The project shipped 17.3 tons of cargo in 2021, 97.1 tons in 2022, and 221.3 tons from January to May 2023.
