Shandong Port Group (SPG) held a meeting to promote its supply chain services to its customers in Australia on Dec 22.

The meeting is part of the group's efforts to expand its global presence and promote deeper cooperation with enterprises around the world.

During the meeting, consul Ye Wei of the Chinese consulate-general in Sydney said he hopes more Australian industrial and business communities would get to know more about the facilities and high-quality services of SPG through the promotional event.

Chen Min, chief representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Australia, said that SPG has been developing itself into a "win-win" chain for sustainable growth and a reliable partner for worldwide enterprises.

SPG is striving to build a first-class service system for supply chains which covers more than 80 kinds of service ranging from shipping freight forwarding and quarantine inspection to warehousing and logistics, said its chairman Huo Gaoyuan.
