The first grain unloader at Qingdao Port of Shandong Port Group (SPG) completed its initial heavy-load test at the Dongjiakou Port Area on May 1. This unloader, the largest fully automatic grain unloader in China, signifies a new era of intelligent and automated grain loading and unloading operations at the Dongjiakou Port Area.

The Dongjiakou branch of Qingdao Port has long been responsible for a significant portion of grain import loading and unloading tasks. With strong support from SPG, the Dongjiakou branch introduced the nation's largest fully automated grain unloader and conducted a series of rigorous tests.

Throughout the testing process, the Dongjiakou branch and the manufacturer of the unloader worked hand in hand, leaving no stone unturned to ensure thorough testing of the unloader, from installation and debugging to final operation. Technicians meticulously inspected each component to guarantee optimal performance, and multiple tests were conducted under various operating conditions to assess stability and reliability, instilling confidence in the equipment's performance.

Recognizing the crucial role of operators in utilizing the equipment's efficiency during actual operations, special emphasis was placed on professional training. The Dongjiakou branch also established a comprehensive equipment maintenance and emergency response system, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues during operation. Following a series of tests and adjustments, the first grain unloader successfully completed its heavy-load test at the Dongjiakou Port Area on the morning of May 1.
