Themed "smoothing the sea corridor for Dezhou, assisting Dezhou in achieving a new economic breakthrough", the Shandong Port Group (SPG) integrated supply chain service (Dezhou) promotion conference kicked off in Dezhou on June 25. Co-hosted by the Dezhou municipal government and SPG, the event marks a significant step for SPG in introducing and promoting its port-centered integrated supply chain services. Drawing upon its strengths in trade, logistics, finance, shipping and other fields, SPG will strive to empower Dezhou and propel high-quality regional economic growth.

The event witnessed the launch of the SPG Dezhou representative office and the signing of 12 projects among SPG Trading Group, SPG Investment Holding Group, SPG Logistics Group, and local partners in sectors such as new energy, new materials, bio-technology, and industrial internet. 

With its strategic location, Dezhou is a crucial industrial and commercial city in northwest Shandong, serving as a new energy industrial base in the province. It boasts a diverse range of industries, a favorable business environment, and promising development prospects.

In June 2020, SPG signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dezhou municipal government. Since then, both parties have consistently deepened collaboration, launching container freight train services from Qingdao Port to Pingyuan and Qihe in Dezhou, also setting up inland ports in the two cities, and inking a "1+N" strategic cooperation for bulk commodity trading. Through intensified collaboration in burgeoning sectors like modern green logistics and intelligent logistics, the pivotal role of ports in resource aggregation has been maximized. 

In addition, SPG has provided one-stop and end-to-end integrated supply chain solutions to prominent local enterprises involved in areas such as oil, gas, chemicals, and consumer goods. With successful industrial cooperation in diverse cargo varieties and business models, SPG and Dezhou have exemplified effective port-city integration and win-win development.

Moving forward, SPG will enhance the utilization of the Dezhou representative office, align closely with the strategic development and enterprise requirements of Dezhou, and highlight its strengths in whole-factor supply chain solutions. These efforts will serve to actively support modernization in Dezhou.
