Yantai Port sets new record for China-Africa shipping vessels
The vessel Winning Grace, carrying 25,000 cubic meters of construction machinery, recently transported 253 engineering vehicles from Yantai Port of Shandong Port Group, China to the Republic of Guinea in Africa. This shipment set a new record for the largest single shipment of mechanical vehicles between China and Africa.

During this operation, Yantai Port's specialized cargo team, acknowledging the variety, volume, and slow reinforcement of engineering vehicles, enacted a comprehensive chain management process. With robust backing from port authorities, the team efficiently completed the vessel operation in just 40 hours, despite adverse weather conditions including thunderstorms and strong winds. This high level of service quality and operational efficiency garnered high acclaim, solidifying Yantai Port's reputation as the premier general cargo terminal in the nation.

Since the beginning of the year, Yantai Port has expanded its business outreach to over 20 African countries and regions, completing 45 voyages between China and Africa. These voyages have transported more than 3,100 pieces of diverse engineering machinery across six major categories, including earthmoving machines and lifting equipment. By offering comprehensive one-stop logistics services, Yantai Port is injecting fresh vigor into the global general cargo market.
