Yantai Port, a subsidiary corporation of Shandong Port Group (SPG), recently joined with Sinotruck to establish an overseas warehouse in Guinea.

The launch of the overseas warehouse in Guinea is expected to further strengthen the China-Africa auto parts supply chain bridge and support the practical measures of China's manufacturing industry in Africa, providing strong momentum for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The overseas warehouse covers an area of over 15,000 square meters, capable of accommodating nearly 300 trucks and providing comprehensive services such as goods storage, inspection, and delivery. It offers exporters many conveniences, such as reducing transit time and costs, simplifying customs clearance procedures, enhancing the customer service experience, effectively preventing supply chain risks, ensuring supply chain stability, and further enhancing the competitiveness of "Made in China" products in the international market.

As the first port of entry for China's trade with Africa, Yantai Port has been implementing a strategy to build core competitive advantages in port operations. By seizing the opportunities provided by the BRI, it has been cultivating the China-Africa general cargo liner route, focusing on consolidating cargo sources through routes and promoting routes through cargo sources. This has further stimulated the vitality of the "China-Africa two-way logistics golden channel" chain services, continuously upgrading its distinctive development advantages.

The liner route currently connects with over 20 countries in Africa, including Guinea, Tanzania, South Africa, and Namibia, with nearly 400 outgoing maritime shipments and a total return cargo volume of nearly 8.4 million metric tons.
