Shandong Port Group (SPG) has recently established a new comprehensive supply chain service model of end-to-end logistics combined with full-service financial solutions for a seafood feed production enterprise in Dezhou.

This accomplishment is the result of cooperation among various subsidiaries of SPG such as Shandong Port Investment Holdings, Qingdao Port Group, Shandong Port Land-sea International Logistics Group, and SPG's representative office in Dezhou.

This model has opened up new logistics pathways for the client, including road, rail, and sea transport, while also providing 12 million yuan ($1.66 million) in equipment financing and leasing financial services to help the client reduce their overall logistics costs and enhance transportation efficiency.

In order to add logistics channels to ensure the enterprise's supply chain stability, the team from SPG visited the client's factory, designed container logistics routes, integrated policy resources, and reduced transportation costs.

Addressing the enterprise's funding shortage, Shandong Port Investment Holdings's supply chain financial team combined production equipment financing and leasing with floating collateral on goods in transit. This method effectively resolves financing challenges, reduces overall costs, and further increases customer loyalty.

This new service model has been praised by businesses because it has shortened the financing process, aligned with customer needs, and improved production and operational efficiency.

Currently, the client has shipped 60 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of goods from Qingdao Port by sea, with an expected annual increase of over 2,400 TEUs for SPG.
