Overseas Development Group of Shandong Port Group (SPG) recently signed agreements for two overseas terminal operations and management projects, including one at Cambodia's Kampot Port and another at Guinea's Lumiere Port.

The project signings mark a milestone in SPG's global expansion efforts, which will further enhance the brand recognition of SPG within the international port industry and boost economic collaboration between China and countries such as Cambodia and Guinea.

Ports, as indispensable facilities, are facing more opportunities and challenges amid a fast-changing global landscape. At the forefront of SPG's global initiatives in building core competitive advantages, Overseas Development Group has remained attuned to the trends of the times and maintained a global perspective to further explore the overseas market, aligning with SPG'S "three development goals". 

Since 2024, Overseas Development Group has followed the development strategy of "overseas region+country+project" and joined the SPG integrated supply chain service center to broaden access to global resources and the expand global network layout, global capital allocation and global brand building. It has also made continuous efforts to develop "five industries", including overseas terminals.

Going forward, Overseas Development Group will tap into the integrated supply chain service advantages of SPG to provide state-of-the-art port facilities and efficient logistics services to Cambodia and Guinea. This initiative will contribute to local port development, enhance port capacity, bolster the growth of port-related industries and strengthen the connectivity of global supply, industrial and logistics chains.
