As the Year of the Snake approaches, the vessel CUL SHEKOU docked at the QQCT 69 berth of Qingdao Port, part of Shandong Port Group (SPG).

This route represents a direct Mediterranean line launched jointly by Uniglobal Shipping, CStar Line, and Global Feeder Shipping. It connects China with the major ports of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkiye. The plan is to deploy 10 container ships to further facilitate the international trade route between the Far East and the Mediterranean.

Initially, vessels on this route operated as "extra trips". However, with the continuous optimization of the business environment at Qingdao Port and the ongoing improvement of port service quality, along with various market development factors, the route becomes a stable weekly service starting from January 2025.

To ensure a smooth maiden voyage, Qingdao Port adheres to the integration of external liaison and internal coordination. The port closely monitors vessel arrivals, customizes cargo collection plans, and organizes the entire process from berthing to machinery arrangement and labor allocation. This commitment guarantees high-quality, efficient departures, earning commendations from customers.

Looking ahead, Qingdao Port remains committed to elevating its service standards, streamlining its logistics channels, and optimizing its business environment.
