SPG imports feed-grade wheat flour from Central Asia
At the beginning of Chinese New Year, Overseas Development Group, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Group (SPG), imported 3,280 metric tons of feed-grade wheat flour from Central Asia, expanding its business scope and setting a promising trajectory for growth in the new year.
The consignment of wheat flour imports departed from Kostanay in Kazakhstan, reloaded at Almaty, entered China through the Horgos Port, and finally reached Chengxiang town in Sichuan province. The importation of the wheat flour signifies a crucial step forward for SPG in deepening international cooperation and expanding overseas markets. It also underscores SPG's efforts to build a port-centered integrated supply chain service system.
As a professional integrated supply chain solutions provider, SPG Overseas Development Group has leveraged its inherent advantages to deliver customized and one-stop supply chain services to customers. The services involve product departures, reloading, and inbound delivery. Through meticulous whole-process organization and efficient and smooth transportation across the logistics chain, SPG Overseas Development Group has provided professional and reliable supply chain solutions to customers.
Relying on SPG's geographical advantage as a gateway for Belt and Road Initiative partner countries, SPG Overseas Development Group has erected a stable supply chain corridor linking Central Asia and the Chinese market, thus providing diversified choices for the domestic feed market. To date, SPG has signed contracts with relevant customers for the subsequent 2,000-plus tons of feed-grade wheat flour imports and has reached consensus on long-term procurement plans.
