This marks the maiden voyage along the Qingdao Port-North Africa weekly general cargo route, a collaborative endeavor between Qingdao Port and Hanson Broker Co Ltd.

A robust partnership elevates maritime collaboration

In 2023, Qingdao Port and Hanson Broker opened the Dagang-St. Petersburg route, expanding their footprint in the Russian Far East market. 

The Qingdao Port-North Africa weekly general cargo route encompasses prominent ports like Port of Casablanca in Morocco and Port of Benghazi in Libya, offering an efficient and stable maritime conduit for Chinese exports of engineering machinery, building materials, and assorted goods.

Boutique strategy fuels cargo aggregation

Qingdao Port has pioneered an operational model that integrates inbound shipment by separate invoice, joint loading, site reinforcement and dynamic scheduling, collaborating with Hanson Broker to furnish tailored logistics solutions to clientele. By bringing shipping and port operations more closely in synch with one another, the port has been able to precisely match capacity with cargo demand, augmenting cargo volume on the general cargo route of Qingdao Port and Hanson Broker by 60 percent, further fortifying Qingdao Port's standing as a pivotal hub for general cargo transshipment in northern China.
