Shandong Port Group (SPG) hosted a business promotional seminar in Athens, Greece, on May 15 (local time). The event attracted leading enterprises in shipping, logistics, and trade sectors across China and Greece.

The seminar, co-organized by SPG Overseas Development Group in partnership with the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping, the Hellenic-Chinese Business Chamber, and the Association of Industries of Attica and Piraeus, was held in a hybrid format. The main physical venue was in Athens, complemented by a parallel online session running in China.

At the seminar, SPG (Europe) B.V. presented SPG's internationalization strategy and overseas network layout, detailing SPG's integrated supply chain service system that combines "logistics, trade, investment, and overseas operations" and its competitive business advantages. Through real-time video links, SPG's business subsidiaries addressed customer queries, fostering preliminary cooperation agreements in areas such as consumer goods imports and exports, vessel leasing, and investment cooperation.

The seminar marked a critical follow-up initiative after SPG's visit to Greece in April, signifying that bilateral cooperation has entered a new phase. 

George Xiradakis, chairman of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping, spoke highly of the move, saying "SPG's exceptional execution efficiency is deeply impressive, fully showcasing the professionalism and commitment of Chinese enterprises in international business cooperation."
