Qingdao Port recently dispatched a capesize vessel to West Africa. This vessel, which has just completed loading tens of thousands of cubic meters of engineering vehicles and equipment at berth D4 of the Dongjiakou port area, demonstrates Qingdao Port's coordinated service resources and extended service chain. This operation contributes to the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Despite challenges such as limited berth availability, tight scheduling, and severe weather, Qingdao Port demonstrated excellence in coordinated service and extended service chains. The port utilized scientific scheduling and process optimization to secure operational space, leveraging shared berth and equipment resources effectively.

A cross-departmental task force was assembled to implement the "five advancements" strategy. This included early equipment familiarization, advanced tracking of cargo consolidation and customs clearance, pre-planning of transportation routes, pre-shipment coordination meetings, and early optimization of handling techniques. These measures ensured high single-shift loading productivity.

Qingdao Port's efficient operations reflect the dedication and collaborative spirit of its team. Moving forward, the port will continue to focus on breakbulk cargo operations, driving the high-quality development of Shandong Port Group.
