A container vessel named MSC TAMPA recently docked at Qingdao Port, managed by Shandong Port Group (SPG), marking the start of Osprey, a new weekly service connecting Asia with Southeast India. Qingdao Port serves as a regular port of call, enhancing connectivity to South Asia and providing a more stable logistics corridor for importers and exporters.

The service rotation includes important ports such as Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Tanjung Pelepas, Ennore, Mundra, Karachi, and Colombo, creating a fast maritime logistics corridor linking China with key ports in South Asia. MSC TAMPA's previous port of call was Hong Kong, and it is set to sail toward Ningbo after operations at Qingdao Port.

With this new service, Qingdao Port will improve the schedule reliability and service capability of routes to India and Pakistan. This reliable schedule aims to offer importers and exporters more shipping resources and efficient logistics solutions.

The new route marks another milestone in Qingdao Port's ongoing efforts to improve its international route network and regional shipping corridors. As South Asia routes expand, Qingdao Port will strengthen its reach, playing a more active role in safeguarding the stability of industry and supply chains and serving the new development pattern of domestic and international circulations.
