Zhejiang is pursuing development out of the province and expanding opening-up to make its circle of friends ever larger. Zhejiang's total annual imports and exports hit 3 trillion yuan. Ningbo-Zhoushan port has ranked first in the world for 11 consecutive years in terms of cargo throughput. A world-class green petrochemical base is being built in the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Zhoushan, and the "Yiwu-Madrid" freight train is in normal operation, creating new legends along the Silk Road.
