Farhad Hossain is among the first group of international design education students at Ningbo Innovation Center of Zhejiang University. In July, the 24-year-old Bangladeshi received an interview from the United Nations and shared his first year of study in Ningbo.   

The college launched the International Design Education Program in partnership with United Nations Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries and the World Eco-Design Conference in 2021. The two-and-a-half-year postgraduate program aims to cultivate interdisciplinary design talent, bringing their newfound knowledge to their home countries.
