Zhejiang's Jiang carries Chinese flag at Paralympics closing ceremony

Jiang Yuyan from East China's Zhejiang province served as one of China's flag bearers at the closing ceremony of the 17th Summer Paralympic Games in Paris on Sept 9.
At the Paris Paralympics, the Chinese team won a total of 220 medals, including 94 golds, 76 silvers, and 50 bronzes, making it the winner in terms of both gold and overall medal counts for the sixth consecutive Paralympic Games.
In the Paralympics swimming events, the Chinese team clinched victory with an astonishing time of 2 minutes 24.83 seconds in the mixed 4x50m medley relay 20-point final on Sep 6, not only winning gold but also setting a new world record for the event.
This victory marked Jiang's fifth gold medal at the Paris Paralympics.
With a total of seven gold medals, Jiang has become the most successful Paralympic athlete in the history of Zhejiang.
