Lishui offers convenient services for international talent
Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province held a ceremony on Feb 26 to issue its first batch of "Join in Card" for foreign talent in Qingtian county, with over 50 government officials, foreign talent, and representatives from the overseas Chinese community and businesses participating.
The event aimed to provide more convenient services for international talent working in Lishui and to promote the city's international talent recruitment drive.
The "Join in Card" symbolizes the gathering of global talent. It integrates and embeds the foreign work permit information into the social security card. This allows expats working in China to enjoy a "one-card" service in various areas such as finance, healthcare, transportation and cultural tourism.

During the event, officials presented the first batch of "Join in Cards" to five foreign talents and explained the card's functions and usage.
In recent years, Qingtian county has been optimizing the application process for foreign work permits and has been enhancing the "one-card" service functionality of the social security card.
"We also unveiled the Facilitation Service Station for Expats Working in China, which provides comprehensive foreign expert certificate services for foreign talent working in Qingtian," said Zhu Jianguang, an official from Qingtian county's science and technology bureau.
During the event, the county also held facilitation service activities for expats in Qingtian, aiming to make their work and life easier.
