The Ningbo (Russia) Home Consumer Goods Expo opened in Moscow on April 1, featuring a variety of products including consumer goods, home decorations, and hardware from Ningbo for the second consecutive year.

Organized by Ningbo's municipal bureau of commerce, the Ningbo council for the promotion of trade, and the exhibition group ITE Group, the event aims to meet Russia's growing consumer demand.

The expo helps companies explore emerging markets, especially those involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. This year's event coincides with MosBuild — the Moscow International Building Materials Exhibition, which is increasing the expo's visibility and engagement.

Russia's market holds significant potential, with rapidly growing consumer demand and e-commerce exceeding $60 billion. Last year's Ningbo consumer expo attracted 40,000 buyers over four days, resulting in $100 million in potential deals.

Ningbo plans to continue organizing overseas exhibitions to strengthen enterprises' confidence and tap into trade opportunities.
