A Bell helicopter 206B3 soared into the sky from the take-off point in the Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone in Kaihua county, Quzhou, on Nov 26, offering breathtaking views of Kaihua's natural beauty.
This marks the opening of Kaihua's first low-altitude passenger-carrying helicopter tourism route, signaling the start of a new chapter in low-altitude tourism for the region.
The flight covers a total distance of 20 kilometers, with an estimated flight time of 10 minutes, and connects multiple scenic spots in the county, according to Fang Shijin, executive general manager of Zhejiang Feixiang Navigation Co.
"This is Kaihua's first low-altitude helicopter tour. The success of this maiden flight is a crucial step in the development of the county's low-altitude economy," said Wang Qiang, deputy director of the transportation bureau of Kaihua.
Next, Kaihua will continue to expand low-altitude applications in ecological governance, public services, emergency rescue, logistics distribution, education, and training.
