Quzhou chenpi is essentially dried, aged tangerine peel, which has long been a premium medicinal ingredient distributed nationwide. In fact, Quzhou's chenpi industry boasts a rich recorded history of over 1,400 years in cultivation and processing.
The industrial park boasts a 9,300-square-meter production center, staffed with 24 technicians, equipped with six production lines and 12 peeling and drying machines. It also features a storage center capable of holding 4,000 metric tons of chenpi.

These include two primary processing lines, five advanced processing lines, an exhibition hall, a R&D center, a testing and inspection center, and a smart storage center.
The industrial park aims to create a comprehensive service system for the chenpi industry covering industry standards, planting, protecting, processing, storing, testing, certifying, and researching its history.
Moreover, the new industrial park will focus on the medicinal and wellness potential of tangerines and develop the chenpi industry into a key pillar for rural vitalization.
