Jiaxing releases notice on Covid-19 prevention
Suzhou in Jiangsu province reported eight positive COVID-19 cases on the morning of Feb 14, and Jiaxing released a notice that very day to help prevent the spread of the virus.
Jiaxing residents who were in Suzhou after Jan 31 are required to report to their residential communities or hotels and companies and take nucleic acid tests as soon as possible.
Those who shared a travel route with confirmed cases (including asymptomatic ones) are required to undergo centralized quarantine for 14 days and home quarantine for seven days and take nucleic acid tests.
People who were in the districts of Gusu, Wuzhong, or Wujiang, as well as the Suzhou Industrial Park after Jan 31 are required to undergo home quarantine for three days, monitor their own health for 11 dyas, and take nucleic acid tests.
Those who traveled to other areas of Suzhou after Jan 31 are required to test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours and monitor their own health for 14 days.
Jiaxing residents who commute between Jiaxing and Suzhou are required to take a nucleic acid test every two days.
Jiaxing residents are also advised not to leave the city or visit medium or high-risk areas or areas with confirmed cases, while people from medium and high-risk areas are advised not to visit Jiaxing.
Should symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, hyposmia, hypogeusia, and diarrhea occur, people should visit the nearest fever clinic as soon as possible and share their travel history with a doctor.
