Five Jiaxing natives will perform at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, which runs from March 4 to 13.

The five performers are members of the Zhejiang Art Troupe for People with Disabilities. They include dancers with hearing impairment Ye Zheng, Ma Zhenhong, Li Mei and Jin Lei, as well as Liu Jie, a singer with physical disabilities.

At the beginning of this year, the group started rehearsals in Beijing after they received a notice from the organizing committee of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games in late 2021.
