Jiaxing's digital economy sees stable growth in Jan-July
The added value of manufacturing in the digital economy's core industries in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, reached 29.81 billion yuan ($4.31 billion) from January to July, up 13.9 percent year-on-year, official data showed.
The city has accelerated the implementation of digital and green transformation to promote the development of the city's manufacturing industry.
In the first half of this year, the city launched 912 digital and green transformation projects and attracted 19.27 billion yuan in investment for technological transformation, saving 65,000 metric tons of standard coal.

Thanks to the construction of the "future factory", the per capita output of Jiaxing Minhua Auto Parts Co Ltd has jumped significantly, and the added value has increased by a factor of between 2 to 3. Meanwhile, the ratio of robots to manual workers has reached 3:1.
In addition, by 2025 the city aims to establish more than 10 new provincial-level future factories, more than 10 green factories and more than 120 intelligent factories and digital workshops.
