Wuzhen to host 'Long Street Banquet' during Spring Festival

Wuzhen town in Tongxiang, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province is gearing up for its Long Street Banquet, scheduled to unfold during the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 9 to 16.
The banquet will feature many tables covered by tablecloths with dragon scale designs, arranged in a line along the street. In addition to special dishes tailored for the Year of the Dragon, local delicacies, such as smoked bean tea, rice wine, Wuzhen lamb, salted trotters, and red eggs will tempt diner's taste buds.
The event also promises a visual feast, with dragon-shaped lanterns adorning the streets. At the entrance, traditional folk performances will be staged and guests will have the opportunity to participate in interactive rituals, such as beating a gong for blessings.
