Lishui rides Spring Festival holiday cultural tourism boom
Lishui located in East China's Zhejiang province – experienced a cultural tourism boom during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday.
From Jan 29 to Feb 3, the Longquan Celadon Museum and the Longquan Sword Museum both in Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, welcomed over 100,000 visitors, who were keen to learn more about Longquan celadon porcelain and the culture surrounding Longquan swords.
To improve the experiences of tourists, the Longquan Celadon Museum organized a variety of engaging activities – including stamp collecting, artifact recognition contests, treasure hunts, printmaking, and guided tours.
In the cultural and creative product display and sales area, a wide array of celadon items – including jewelry, fridge magnets, and tea sets – attracted loads of visitors who snapped up purchases.

Meanwhile, the newly opened Longquan Sword Museum also saw a surge in visitors. The museum comprehensively showcases the history, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of Longquan swords.
The fascinating ancient Longquan swords drew visitors to the exhibits. To deepen their understanding of the world of swords, the museum offered free guided tours, poetry matching games, and artifact matching activities.
During the Spring Festival holiday, the Longquan Celadon Museum and the Longquan Sword Museum each saw daily numbers peak at over 10,000 visitors.
