The Yandang Mountain scenic area in Yueqing, a county-level city administered by Wenzhou, welcomed 896,500 visitors during the Spring Festival holiday, an impressive 9.88-percent increase year-on-year.

The ticket revenue hit 18.31 million yuan ($2.52 million), up 9.18 percent, while total business revenue grew a hefty 13.61 percent to 21.33 million yuan.

Visitors flocked to scenic spots like Lingfeng Peak and Dajing Temple for their New Year blessings. Performances such as Yueju Opera flash mobs, Han-style interactive shows and aerial stunts further bolstered the festive vibes.

Popular attractions like cliffside cafes and markets drove strong holiday spending. The Spring Festival market at the visitor center featured traditional crafts, cultural souvenirs and interactive activities, boosting the  atmosphere.

With neat experiences blending heritage, adventure and leisure, Yandang Mountain proved to be a top destination for the Year of the Snake celebrations.
