The third Chinese medical team from East China's Fujian province departed from Fuzhou for Milan, Italy on March 25 to help the country fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.

The team, consisting of 13 medical experts and one translator, was organized by the National Health Commission and dispatched by the Health Commission of Fujian Province.

Team members are from hospitals and organizations such as Fujian Provincial Hospital, the Health Commission of Fujian Province, Fuzhou Pulmonary Hospital of Fujian, and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. All members are leading experts in cardiovascular medicine, respiratory medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and nursing.
