Maritime Silk Road tourism festival to kick off this month in Fuzhou

The 6th Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival will be held in Fuzhou, capital city of East China's Fujian province on Nov 27, and will last for a month till Dec 31, organizers announced at a news conference.
Themed "Expanding cooperation alongside the Maritime Silk Road and sharing a better life", the festival will present an array of activities such as tea brewing, stone carving, paper-cutting and Fujian opera performances.
Highlighting innovation and internationalization, the event will be attended by a large number of representatives from foreign embassies and consulates in China, government officials of tourism departments, and representatives of international travel agencies.
A special summit will also be held during the festival to boost the recovery of the global cultural and tourism sector which has been severely affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
The organizing committee will present a series of promotional activities to stimulate consumption, and online activities will also be held to showcase Fuzhou's popular tourism sites such as Shangxiahang Cultural Historical Block and Three Lanes and Seven Alley, as well as the city' well-known cultural and creative products.
