The Wanglaoji (Lanzhou) production base, invested by Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings, recently commenced operations in the Dinglian Park of Lanzhou New Area in Lanzhou. The base, which is Wanglaoji's fourth self-operated production facility nationwide and the first in Northwest China, has a total investment of 350 million yuan ($49.55 million) and covers an area of approximately 100 mu (6.67 hectares).  

Equipped with a highly automated filling line, the base currently holds an annual production capacity of about 6.5 million standard cases. It is expected to create over 100 local jobs, with a second production line planned for the future to further contribute to Gansu's economic growth.

During the launch ceremony, Wanglaoji Great Health Industry Co and Baosteel Packaging announced that they will be stepping up collaboration. Baosteel Packaging's nearby can manufacturing base in Lanzhou is directly connected to Wanglaoji's production line, enabling automated can transportation that significantly reduces logistics costs and improves supply chain efficiency.

With the smooth operation of the production line, cans of Wanglaoji labeled "made in Lanzhou" are now steadily entering the northwest market. Leveraging the radiating influence of the Lanzhou base, Wanglaoji aims to further expand its presence in the region, promote industrial coordination, and contribute to local economic development.
