Silk Road Guangxi Hechi Silk Industry Park

Located in the northwest area of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Hechi is currently the largest silkworm production area in Guangxi and is known as China's new silk capital.

In 2019, Guangxi Yizhou Cocoon Silk Light Industry Park was included in the list of the first batch of "Guangxi Silk Parks". In December 2020, the Silk Road Guangxi Hechi Silk Industrial Park Company was established.

To date, there are more than 60 enterprises in the industrial park, including 19 enterprises above designated size. The total investment of the industrial park is 2.16 billion yuan ($339 million), while the output value is about 22.7 billion yuan. The industrial park covers an area of 1,000 mu (66.7 hectares), with the building area spanning 524,800 square meters. 

It consists of four parks with different functions, namely Guanhua Garden for silk dyeing and printing, Jinhua Garden for silk waving, Yihua Garden for interwoven fabric dyeing and printing, as well as Zhenhua Garden for apparel and home textile deep processing.

The industrial park aims to build a cocoon silk ecological industrial chain demonstration park by making full use of Yizhou's silkworm cocoon industrial advantages.
