Hechi Nandan Industrial Park achieves high-quality development

Hechi Nandan Industrial Park was the first industrial park in Hechi with an output value exceeding 20 billion yuan, producing an industrial output value of 21.39 billion yuan ($3.38 billion) in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 27.91 percent. Its industrial added value was 3.76 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.16 percent, while its industrial investment was 2.36 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 176.88 percent.

Located in Chehe Town, Hechi's Nandan county, which is known as the "hometown of non-ferrous metals," Hechi Nandan Industrial Park was established in 2006, with a planned area of 35.26 square kilometers. It mainly focuses on non-ferrous metal smelting and precious metals recovery.

With the growing demand for non-ferrous metal basic materials and deep-processed products, the industrial park has developed rapidly in recent years.

In has also focused on achieving green development by increasing the proportion of clean energy used, such as hydropower, wind power, and solar power generation. It has promoted the comprehensive utilization system of renewable resources and improved the comprehensive utilization rate of resources. The industrial park will pay attention to project construction this year, focusing on having eight new projects achieve production as soon as possible. It will also enhance infrastructure construction, accelerating the construction of land-port bonded logistics parks and highway-railway intermodal transport hub projects. It will strive to achieve an industrial output value of 50 billion yuan in 2023 and has the goal of doubling that to 100 billion yuan in 2025.
