Recently, construction on the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Entry-Exit Building at the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Wharf in the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Special Cooperation Zone for Intelligent Manufacturing was completed.

Moving forward, and following the completion of the building, open-water routes connecting Huangpu District in Guangzhou, the Hong Kong International Airport, and the Macao International Airport will also be opened up.

It will take 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Hong Kong Airport and 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, a Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Helicopter Passenger Terminal will be built, meaning a "1.5-hour Economic Circle" and a 30-minute high-end business circle in the Greater Bay Area will become a reality.

The Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Entry-Exit Building heliport is an A2 type elevated heliport that can carry out commercial operations for less than ten passengers and provide aircraft take-off, landing, and stopover services. The airport's total area is 1,600 square meters, including a landing pad and emergency parking space.

In the future, the project will be opened to connect Hong Kong and Macao to the express air and water routes, to establish a Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao "sea, land and air" transportation hub, to create a landmark project in the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Special Cooperation Zone, and to provide business, tourism, emergency rescue, and other diversified services to regions in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Also, upgraded transportation services will be able to promote more diversified trade and economic activities in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

New ferry terminal in Guangzhou to connect Hong Kong and Macao

Besides the helicopter service, ferry services will soon be available for travelers to and from Hong Kong and Macao, as the main structure of the Pazhou Passenger Terminal, the first border port for sea travel in Guangzhou’s downtown area, has completed construction.

The ferry terminal is adjacent to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Pazhou Bridge. Once it is operational, people in Guangzhou will be able to reach the Hong Kong International Airport within two hours.

One-stop check-in and customs clearance will be available at the Pazhou Passenger Terminal, enabling tourists to board their planes directly upon arrival at the Hong Kong International Airport and establishing a seamless sea-air connection.

More routes will be opened to the downtown areas of Hong Kong and Macao as well as to the Macao International Airport in the future.
