Guangzhou recently developed a 520-kilometer mountain-to-sea cycling path.

The Guangzhou municipal planning and natural resources bureau, in collaboration with Amap and Baidu Maps, has launched eight completed routes totaling 240 km, allowing residents to easily search and plan their cycling routes.

The main route runs from the national forest park at Conghua Liuxi River in the north and passes through the Pearl River belt before reaching the Nansha seashore in the south.

Among these routes is the Haizhu cycling path, which includes sections showcasing industrial heritage, urban areas, and central wetlands.

The central wetlands section, from Xiaozhou village to the Haizhu backwater channel, offers a scenic ride along the Pearl River backwater, allowing riders to experience the essence of Haizhu's culture and economy.

This cycling path provides a new recreational option, enabling people to cycle in green environments and explore the diverse landscapes of Guangzhou.
