Recently, the Guangzhou International Cultural Center Building located in the core area of Pazhou, Haizhu disrtict, is nearing completion, boasting a uniquely intricate interior design.
With a total construction area of approximately 162,500 square meters, standing 56 stories above ground and five stories below, and reaching a height of 320 meters, this structure is poised to become the "skyline" cultural landmark of Guangzhou.
Designed by renowned firms like Jahn/FGP, the project has already received LEED Gold pre-certification and the national green building "Three-Star" design certification. Drawing inspiration from the traditional Chinese concept of "Book Mountain", the design features a grand entrance lobby symbolizing the importance of books as a ladder of human progress.
The Guangzhou International Cultural Center will primarily focus on culture while integrating commercial, business offices, art exhibitions, cultural exchanges, educational outreach, and entertainment, establishing itself as a cultural and business hub in the Pazhou Smart City Demonstration Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The center will house a unique 5,000-sq-m bookstore, open 24 hours and hosting various cultural events to foster cultural exchange. Additionally, it also plans to construct an international conference hall, meeting rooms, rooftop gardens, staff dining facilities, and other amenities to offer diverse cultural services and business experiences.
