Media trip for journalists across Taiwan Straits comes to an end

Ma Xiaoguang, director of the  Information Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that reports written by journalists across Taiwan Straits cover various fields including high technology, modern agriculture, modern tourism, innovative culture and people's everyday lives. They fully reveal the development process and achievements of Shenzhen and Hainan in the four decades after the country's reform and opening up.

The media trip is sponsored by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the All-China Journalists Association. Such trips for journalists across the Taiwan Straits started in 1992 and so far 17 have been successfully completed. The mode is welcomed in press circles and has become an influential brand for information exchange.
