China's opening-up benefits itself and the world as well: Boao panelists

"China has become the largest driving force and shock absorber of the world's economy," said Li Daokui, economist at Tsinghua University, adding that the country has contributed around one third to global economic growth over the past years.

"The lessons and experiences of China in opening-up also enlightened other countries," Li said.
