China's island province of Hainan recently established its first national offshore innovation and entrepreneur base for overseas talents, according to reports from Hainan Daily on July 8.
The core area for the base will be the Fullsing Town Internet Innovation Park in Haikou, while the supporting areas will include the Haikou National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Haikou Jiangdong New District, and Hainan Normal University National Science Park.
The new base officially provides a brand new platform for the implementation of more advanced talents policies and the exploration of more flexible talents-introduction models, as well as innovation and entrepreneur mechanisms.
